Vintage India Zardozi Bullion Embroidery Brooch White Red Bead Floral Pin

Vintage Indian Zardozi Bullion Embroidery Floral Brooch Pin  Beautiful and unusual vintage textile brooch featuring intricate metallic bullion-style embroidery arranged in a dimensional floral/starburst design.  The brooch is decorated with large opaque white teardrop-shaped beads, translucent ruby-red glass accent beads and a champagne-colored center cabochon. Silver- and gold-tone coiled metallic threads create the highly detailed embroidered petals and give the piece wonderful texture and dimension.  The reverse has a fabric backing with an attached metal pin clasp. No maker’s mark is visible.  This appears consistent with traditional Indian zardozi/bullion embroidery jewelry, in which metallic threads, coils and beads are worked onto a textile foundation.
