This mid-to-late 20th-century Navajo brooch was handcrafted by renowned silversmith C.O. Lee. The piece showcases masterful, crisp traditional stampwork featuring a radial sunburst pattern framed by an elegant scalloped border.  At the center is a gorgeous, securely bezel-set turquoise cabochon displaying a rich webbed matrix. The back is clearly hallmarked with the artisan's name and a rare collector designation number 887. It possesses a fantastic natural patina that beautifully highlights the depth of the deep silver stamps. A solid, substantial, and highly collectible piece of Southwest wearable art.  Condition: Excellent vintage condition with light, natural age-appropriate silver tarnish. The pin mechanism is straight and locks securely. Stone is tight in its setting with no cracks or chips.
