Description
Handmade leather ski boots, size 25.5 cm, used until around 1965.
The manufacturer or brand is WOODMAN. (See photo 8)
My father carefully kept them as part of his collection.
They were priced at 15,000 yen at the time.
Considering that men's leather shoes cost 3,000 yen back then, these were quite high-end.
The construction is very solid and durable, and they have a substantial weight.
There are no signs of them ever being used as ski boots.
The shoelaces have yellowed and deteriorated, crumbling into powder. (See photos 9 and 10)
Please purchase these as antique collectibles, not for use as ski boots.
We are looking to sell them to someone who understands their current condition.
