Vintage Purple Iridescent Slinky Dress Fabric Silk Look 2.5 Yards x 44

Beautiful vintage jewel-tone purple fabric with a subtle iridescent/shot effect that shifts from deep violet to brighter purple as the light moves across the surface. Lightweight to medium-light woven fabric with a smooth, slightly lustrous finish and wonderfully fluid, slinky drape. Fine tonal threads give the surface a softly striated, silk-like appearance. It has enough body to hold its shape while still falling beautifully. Fiber content is unknown; likely a synthetic or synthetic blend such as polyester or rayon/polyester. It has the appearance of a silk-look dress fabric but is not being represented as silk. Excellent for dresses, flowing skirts, blouses, occasion wear, costume/theatrical sewing, scarves or other projects where drape and sheen are desired. Approximately 2½ yards × 44” wide.
