1949 Post Toasties Cereal Premium Tin Comic Character Rings Lot of 6 KFS

Vintage 1949 Post Toasties / Post Raisin Bran Cereal Premium Comic Character Rings – Lot of 6 Wonderful group of six original vintage Post cereal premium character rings featuring classic King Features Syndicate comic-strip characters. These small lithographed metal premiums were promotional items associated with Post cereals during the late 1940s. They were originally made with flat metal bands that could be bent to form a child's finger ring. This lot includes six character premiums: • Snuffy Smith • Jiggs – Bringing Up Father • Lillums • Skeezix – Gasoline Alley • Alexander – Blondie • Alexander – second color/design variation Back markings include Post's Toasties Corn Flakes, Post's Raisin Bran, copyright dates including 1948 and 1949, and K.F.S. / King Features Syndicate markings as shown. The pieces remain predominantly in their original flat/unformed configuration rather than being wrapped into finger rings. Condition: Vintage pre-owned collectible condition with age-related surface wear, scratches, finish/paint loss, discoloration and other signs of age and storage. Please enlarge and review all photographs carefully. Both fronts and backs have been photographed to document condition and markings. Sold together as one lot of 6. Great collection of late-1940s advertising memorabilia, cereal premiums, comic-strip collectibles and King Features character memorabilia.
