Vintage RELCO hand-painted ceramic swan planter made in Japan, featuring a soft pink glazed body, dimensional applied red cherries/fruit with green leaves, scalloped opening and gold gilt trim. An unusually scarce RELCO design with strong mid-century kitsch appeal. During our research, we were unable to locate another matching example of this exact pink swan and applied-fruit variation. RELCO is collected for its decorative Japanese figural planters, with many surviving examples featuring animal and seasonal designs. Original RELCO Hand Painted Japan foil label remains underneath. Approx. 5.25 long x 3.5 tall. Very good vintage condition with age-related wear as pictured. Thank you for supporting our small family business.
