Cursed Object / Zashiki-warashi Dwelling Ceramic Doll

A traditional Japanese-style ceramic doll with a beautiful design, holding a red fan.

I received it from a collector of cursed objects. They said a Zashiki-warashi (a type of household spirit) of a young girl around 5 years old resides within it.

The phenomena began about half a month after it came to my home. Snacks I had placed as offerings were found taken out of their bags and scattered around (the bags were simply opened).

I sometimes felt like I was being watched, and then I would catch its eye in the mirror (its gaze met mine, though it shouldn't have been possible due to its orientation). At those times, I would hear a giggling sound echo in my head.

These phenomena occurred, but even though they happened, nothing particularly good or bad happened the next day.

However, the cursed object collector who originally listed it stated that good things always happened the day after these strange occurrences.

It's not a frightening object, so if anyone is interested in welcoming it, please consider it.

It's a piece that truly grows on you.
