There is a rather specific tradition that in January of the first year of Bunji (1185), Fujiwara no Fusahide fled the capital with his retinue and came to Kurodaira, where he taught Noh Sanban.
It is said to have originated from the Kawakami village area of Saku District, Shinshu, and there are no documents to verify its origin. However, according to tradition, it is said to have originated from the Kawakami village area of Saku District, Shinshu, around the end of the Ashikaga period, and also that it was passed down because a certain Fujiwara no Ason fled the capital and came to live here in ancient times.
