Yoshino Kōhō
This artist creates original dolls that inherit the tradition of Edo Gosho Dolls while adding a modern sensibility. Their specialty is charming white dolls of children made with gofun (oyster shell powder). As the fifth-generation successor to this technique, they are a traditional craftsperson recognized both domestically and internationally, with works collected in German museums.
