This is the GUNFIGHTER Stock Assembly-Mod 0 buttstock from the American custom rifle manufacturer BCM (Bravo Company Manufacturing). Unlike the Taiwanese-made BCM AIR product (※Engraving: DESIGN IN USA), this is a genuine BCM product with MADE IN USA engraving.
This lightweight and highly durable polymer stock was designed, developed, and tested for over a year by the company's GUNFIGHTERS, including Larry Vickers. Its design, which thoroughly eliminates edges, minimizes snagging on slings, MOLLE gear, clothing, etc.
The latch system for fixing the stock position has a unique shape different from the conventional round pin of M4 stocks (U.S. Patent No.: 9,109,855). By wrapping around the bottom of the buffer tube and lifting it, impact is dispersed throughout the stock, significantly improving torsional strength. To extend or retract, firmly grip the bottom of the stock to move the lever, allowing length adjustment similar to a standard M4 stock.
The cam-shaped tab located behind the lever is called the VBOST (Vehicle Borne Operations Sling Tab). By hooking a rubber band or bungee cord into this groove, the sling can be secured when not in use.
In addition to ambidextrous QD swivel sockets, it also features loops for band-type slings, making it usable regardless of dominant hand or sling type. The butt plate is made of thick rubber to effectively reduce shoulder strain.
