KAZUO YAIRI Y606B Yairi Bass Guitar Classical Guitar

This is a KAZUO YAIRI label, not K.yairi. It was supervised by Saburo Nogami, the top disciple of Ken Sakurai. It can be considered a collaboration between two master craftsmen, Kazuo Yairi and Saburo Nogami.

This instrument is not a standard classical guitar but a very rare bass guitar.
A bass guitar has a string length of 700mm, a body that is one size larger than a standard classical guitar, and is tuned a half-octave lower than usual. It supports the mid-low range parts in guitar ensembles. In ensembles, the parts are arranged in order from highest to lowest as soprano guitar, alto guitar (requinto), prime guitar (standard guitar), bass guitar (this instrument), contrabass guitar, and guitarrón.
Bass guitars themselves are few in number and are rare.

For those not playing in ensembles, this may be an unfamiliar instrument, but for those who do play, opportunities to purchase are few, and there are few individual instruments to choose from (of course, they are rarely seen at auctions). This is a very valuable opportunity, wouldn't you agree?

Except for the ARIA model, which can be regularly purchased, most are usually custom-ordered. While K.yairi currently offers acoustic bass guitars (list price ¥162,000,000), they do not produce classical guitar bass guitars.
Ordering from the workshop easily costs over ¥300,000, and this type of guitar rarely appears on the used market.

This instrument was made 44 years ago in 1982. The body top is high-quality solid spruce, and the back and sides are Indian rosewood.
The neck is mahogany, and the fingerboard is made of very dense, jet-black ebony.

For musicians playing in ensembles,
please take advantage of this rare opportunity to acquire this instrument.
