■ YAMAKI Gakki, located in Suwa City, Nanzu, my hometown in Shinshu. Although it is a musical instrument manufacturer that unfortunately no longer exists, it is considered a legendary guitar! among guitar enthusiasts and is still highly prized today! This is a superb entry-level concert guitar produced in the early 1970s by YAMAKI, led by Mr. Terdaira! A truly exceptional classic guitar! Original price ¥15,000 (equivalent to ¥50,000 in today's currency).

■ Exterior: The top has minor, barely noticeable, sesame seed-sized or linear pressure marks visible under light. Any dents have been beautifully repaired with urethane, leaving a smooth surface. A crack on the left side edge has also been repaired with urethane. The sides and back have some minor scuffs, but nothing serious, making this an exceptionally beautiful instrument! The top boasts a rich color and luster befitting a classic guitar, with a beautifully tight straight grain made from superb Sitka spruce. The sides and back are made of a mahogany-like wood with an impressive grain, giving the body a glossy, wet look! While it has been polished, there are some minor hairline scratches due to age, which are barely noticeable. Please be aware of this.

■ Fingerboard: The jet-black rosewood has a beautiful grain and shows little sign of use. There are slight indentations on some of the lower frets, but they do not affect playability in any way. Despite being an entry-level model, it is a full-fledged concert guitar without side position markers!

■ Frets: Polished without rust or tarnish. Approximately 80% remaining.

■ Neck: Straight.

■ Truss Rod: Not equipped.

■ Saddle Height: Approximately 5mm (at the center of the saddle).

■ Scale: 651mm.

■ Tuning Machines: Newly installed gold 3-on-a-plate tuning machines! Screws are also new!

■ Strings: Equipped with new Augustine medium tension nylon strings!

■ Interior: Dust and debris have been removed with compressed air, and there are no unpleasant odors.
