Vintage 1970s COX Dyna-Mite HO Scale Slot Car Racing Set (Model No. 19)  Up for auction/sale is an exceptionally rare, collector-grade vintage HO scale slot car racing set manufactured by Cox Models. This is the highly sought-after dual-language English/French Canadian release distributed under Leisure Dynamics Canada, featuring an impressive 19 feet of multi-level track powered by a 12-volt system using Cox's signature 'Dyna-Grip' magnetic lane-hugging design.  COLLECTOR'S HOLY GRAIL HIGHLIGHT  100% FUNCTIONAL MECHANICAL AIR BRAKES: Both included Manta Can-Am slot cars have been successfully bench-tested with a 9V battery and the motors run flawlessly! Crucially, the incredibly rare and fragile mechanical rear wing flaps are completely intact and fully functional. When powered up, the flaps smoothly retract into the body to reduce aerodynamic drag, exactly as intended by Cox's premium 1970s engineering. Finding a surviving pair with unbroken, fully operational air-brake wings is an absolute rarity.
