In a standard classical guitar course, after completing Carcassi's 25 etudes, students typically move on to Sor's etudes.
It can be challenging to play Sor's etudes with Segovia's fingering.
The fingering in this etude collection emphasizes its function as an etude while also aiming to make the pieces playable.
Sonido Técnica is a research group that constantly explores easier fingerings for classical guitar pieces.
This is the most recommended text for those studying Carcassi and Sor's etudes.
A great value two-book set.
Why not revisit Sor's and Carcassi's etudes, not just for beginners?
