Yushin Matsuda C-30 Titanium Back Inner Carbon & Outer Titanium 2018 Custom

This guitar is a custom model by Mr. Yushin Matsuda, a craftsman who builds custom guitars in Okinawa. He has obtained Patent No. 5312880 for a technology that uses dry carbon, which is harder and lighter than wood, on the back. This allows sound waves vibrated by the top to be reflected across the entire surface without loss, directly transmitting the sound quality produced by the top to the front.

This guitar was custom-made by modifying a Ryoji Matsuoka M-60. It features a thick, straight-grained cedar solid top, rosewood sides with dense grain, a back made of titanium with a carbon layer inside and a Brazilian rosewood-style print on the outside, and a rosewood fingerboard modified in an electric guitar style. The bridge has also been replaced with an original custom part. Additionally, a pickup is installed, although it has not been used regularly.

Inspired by Okinawa's sanshin, Matsuda Guitars has incorporated unique features in the bracing structure of the top plate, the bridge structure, and the string attachment method. These innovations, protected by patent, result in a quick attack and rich volume, allowing you to enjoy the characteristic crisp, warm, and voluminous sound of Matsuda Guitars.

This instrument was crafted in 2018. While there are some scratches and dings, particularly on the sides and neck, the previous owner has repaired the finish, and the guitar remains in good condition. It is currently strung with trial strings, so you can play it immediately.
