KODAIRA Classical Guitar AST-85L Short Scale 630mm

Purchased in December 2024 from Shimamura Music for my second daughter, a junior high school student. The price was 93,500 yen. My daughter finds the standard 650mm size easier to play, so it's like new, only used for trying it out. The condition is excellent.

There is one minor scratch (possibly a paint unevenness?) near the bridge on the 3rd string. It's only visible when held up to the light. Of course, it does not affect the tone or volume. Other parts are like new.
In addition to the short scale, the nut width is also narrow at about 50mm, making this a very easy-to-play guitar. How about it for women or men with small hands?
The string height has been adjusted at the store as follows and is currently maintained for ease of play.
* Year of manufacture: 2023
* String height: 6th string, 12th fret: approx. 3mm
* String height: 1st string, 12th fret: approx. 2.5mm
* [KODAIRA GUITARS]
A guitar maker based in Suwa City, Nagano Prefecture, producing guitars through a division of labor by craftsmen.
Each guitar is handmade in Japan and offered at reasonable prices, making it a popular brand among students and classical guitar beginners due to its high cost performance.

All Kodaira guitars use well-dried, high-quality materials and are carefully crafted one by one by skilled artisans. As a result, they have high manufacturing precision, a beautiful and elegant tone, and high durability. Furthermore, to improve playability, the nut and saddle are adjusted individually before shipping to set the optimal string height.

While most entry-level guitar manufacturing has shifted to mass production overseas, it is difficult to continue making handmade guitars in Japan. However, Kodaira Guitars strives to create guitars that allow beginners to experience the true value of guitars more deeply and quickly. (Quoted from the official Kodaira Guitars website)

The sound itself is balanced, with a clear and elegant tone.
* Round stickers are attached as position markers. They can be easily removed if not needed. For beginners, we recommend leaving them on as markers.
* The guitar will be safely delivered in a new YAMAHA gig bag for classical guitars, wrapped in cushioning material, and packed in a dedicated guitar cardboard box.
* Due to the policy against product swapping, returns and refunds will not be accepted under any circumstances.
