【1976 Vintage】Martin D-18 Acoustic Guitar with Hard Case

The coveted Martin D-18 (1976 model). This is a vintage model that has just reached 50 years old.
I purchased it a few months ago, but because it resonates so well, I don't have many opportunities to play it in my rental apartment, so unfortunately, I am listing it for sale.

As it is a 50-year-old model, the top spruce is made of dense, high-quality material. There are weather checks and dings, but no cracks that reach the interior, so I believe it is a well-preserved instrument.

■Condition
- As this is a heavily played instrument that is 50 years old, there are overall scratches such as weather checks and dings. However, this contributes to its excellent resonance and beautiful Martin sound.
- The serial number is 374***, confirming it is a 1976 model.
- There are thin paint cracks on the sides of the neck from both sides of the nut, but these are not breaks or cracks. (According to the previous owner, it was thoroughly inspected by a shop.)
- This is a highly aged mahogany model with strong sustain and a rich mahogany tone, making it a very resonant model.
- The tuning pegs and pickguard are not original.
- The neck is nearly straight, and the string height is approximately 2.8mm at the 12th fret on the 6th string and 2.3mm on the 1st string, making it easy to play and in good condition. The frets have over 80% remaining.
- D18 models from this era do not have a truss rod. Therefore, the saddle has been significantly shaved down to maintain a low string height.
- Included are the guitar itself, a non-original but genuine Martin hard case (with key), and documents (copy booklet). Only items shown in the photos are included.
