Vintage PARAGON Bone China Tea Cup & Saucer, Pink and Gold

Lovely bone china teacup and saucer for display or high tea. The design is in wagon-wheel style with bright pink and gold flowers and dots in alternating stripes. The centers of the cup and saucer have gold starburst designs. Rims and handle are trimmed with gold, and there is a thin gold stripe around the cup. The design looks very 1960s or early 1970s to me. This is really a beautiful set if you love pink! Made by Paragon and marked By Appointment to Her Majesty the Queen, Manufacturers of Paragon Fine Bone China England Reg'd and the number D87I is inscribed in gold paint on the bottom of the cup. This mark was used from 1963 to 1993, when the Paragon name was discontinued. This set came from an estate and was used for display.   Saucer measures 5.5 in diameter. Cup is 2.25 tall and 4 in diameter at the rim. Both pieces are in excellent condition.   Stand not included.  Thanks for looking!  06302260
