Yamaki Acoustic Guitar - Junk

Description
YAMAKI Zero Fret Adjustable Bridge
This is an acoustic guitar made in 1970.
It has a wonderful presence with its amber-colored aging. Its size is exquisite, smaller than a standard dreadnought but larger than a folk type.
Reasons for Junk Condition:
High string action
There are cracks on the top board. (There is a slight unevenness when touched from the back, but the crack does not go all the way through.)
There are some areas where the fret edges are slightly lifted.
The truss rod turns, but it is very stiff.
And so on.
However, it can be played normally on the lower frets.
It has a wonderfully rough and dirty sound characteristic of YAMAKI. Why do YAMAKI guitars sound so good even when they are inexpensive and not in the best condition?
Thank you.
