Description

A special guitar celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Grateful Dead, available in two artwork options. Featuring a spruce top with official artwork, it boasts high quality, playability, and tone. Solid A-grade Western Red Cedar top, official artwork screen-printed on a flawless satin finish, mother-of-pearl Lightning Bolt inlay, the band's Dancing Bear on the back of the headstock, rosewood fingerboard and two-tiered bridge, with a thunder god inlay at the 12th fret. Both models feature Alvarez's FST2M hand-finished design with forward-shifted, scalloped bracing for optimal performance and response. The custom art, inspired by classic Grateful Dead imagery, is applied using a unique screen-printing process. Due to the natural wood grain, tops will vary slightly in grain and color, making each Alvarez Grateful Dead guitar a unique instrument.
