Description
By Sanpei Yamanaka - Nodoka
4 sun (approx. 15 cm height) - Pair
Made in Japan
This is an extremely rare piece by the late creative Kokeshi artist, Sanpei Yamanaka.
It has been carefully stored in its box and has never been displayed.
In person, it has a substantial weight, volume, and presence. The plump body and heartwarming, characteristic expression of Sanpei-san are irresistibly cute.
I fell in love with Sanpei-san's Kokeshi dolls and collected them over several years, but my space has become limited, so I have decided to part with them little by little. I would be happy if they could be passed on to someone who will cherish them.
