Vintage Aluminum Serving Dish with Pyrex, MCM Tureen Lid
N/A
This Mid-Century Modern centerpiece features a highly polished round aluminum dish paired with a matching domed lid and original Pyrex dish. The lid is distinctly accented by a fine beaded rim along the margin and a prominent, ornate ring handle finial at the top. Produced by the Buehner-Wanner Company in Norwalk, Connecticut during the 1940s to 1950s, these lightweight yet durable dishes were originally designed to mimic high-end silver while safely serving hot foods at dinner parties. Excellent vintage condition including original Pyrex with no chips/cracks.
