■ Epiphone! As guitar enthusiasts know, Epiphone is a musical instrument manufacturer under the umbrella of Gibson! While Epiphone often has the image of a more affordable Gibson, guitars produced before becoming a subsidiary, like those used by The Beatles, are fondly remembered and many are now traded at high prices. Originally, of course, they were produced in America, but production bases later moved to Japan, then to South Korea and China, and currently Indonesia is the production base. This item is an Epiphone Dove Pro made in Indonesia in 2016, and it's an exquisite piece in a Vintage Sunburst finish! Original list price (excluding tax) at the time: 128,000 yen.

■ Exterior: There is only one sesame seed-sized ding on the top, but it's not noticeable. Other than that, there are no significant scratches on the sides or back, making it a truly near-mint condition, exceptionally beautiful instrument! The top features the iconic Vintage Sunburst finish characteristic of the Dove model, made from exceptionally beautiful, fine-grained, quarter-sawn solid Sitka spruce. The sides and back are made from exquisite maple, which is now rare, creating a beautifully glossy body that looks as if it's wet! Please note that while it has been thoroughly polished, there may be some very minor hairline scratches due to age, but they are barely noticeable.

■ Fretboard: The rosewood grain is very beautiful and shows no signs of use. Eight sparkling mother-of-pearl-like twin parallelogram inlays adorn the fretboard!

■ Frets: Polished with no rust or dullness. Over 90% remaining.

■ Neck: Straight.

■ Truss Rod: Functions correctly.

■ Saddle Height: Approximately 5.0 mm (at the center of the saddle).
