By using this, you can point the rod tip almost directly downwards.
Having the rod tip near the water surface actually has significant advantages.
In methods like bukkomi fishing, if the rod tip is far from the water surface, the line can be affected by the wind, constantly being pulled and moved, which can make fish feel uneasy. If the rod tip is near the water surface, the line is not affected by the wind, eliminating this concern and allowing for clearer detection of bites.
