A major advantage is the easy availability of fuel alcohol.
It's designed so that flames emerge not only from the top but also from the bottom, and it has 30ml and 60ml markings inside the stove.
Approximately 400ml of water can be boiled with 30ml of alcohol, which burns for about 5 minutes.
