Introducing CARBIDE, a destructive distortion pedal that captures the chainsaw sound of a cranked HM-2!
- DRY and WET: Independently adjust the volume of the boost (DRY) and distortion (WET).
- EMP: The original HM-2 has L and H Color Mix knobs. L controls 87Hz, and H controls 958Hz and 1279Hz. CARBIDE maintains the boost in these three bands, but the EMP knob cuts the surrounding frequencies for greater clarity. EMP simultaneously controls 63Hz and a treble shelving filter, allowing you to control both high and low frequencies at the same time.
CARBIDE is compatible with 9-15V center-negative DC power supplies and is primarily powered by a center-negative DC9V adapter.
*Cannot be powered by battery.
