1990 Seiko Quartz AGS (Kinetic) 7M22-6A00 Vintage 35mm Watch. NEW CAPACITOR.

This 90's Seiko AGS (Automated Generating System) is the pre-cursor to Seiko Kinetic. It works similarly to an Automatic me hanical qatch - your natural wrost again winds a rotor - but instead of winding a spring it charges a capacitor. Cool tech, the feel of a mechanical but the accuracy and endurance of a quartz watch. The capacitor does wear out over a long time, I understand a minimum of 5 years with regular use. The capacitor in this watch was installed brand new 8/30/26 and is a Seiko OEM part. They're not cheap. The watch is in mint condition. Doesn't look worn but the bracelet will fit up to 7.25 which tells me some links were possibly removed. Exhibition case on the back shows the mechanics in action. Enjoy this beauty. Thank you The 1990 Seiko Quartz AGS (Kinetic) 7M22-6A00 Vintage 35mm Watch is a classic timepiece featuring a gold plated case and bracelet, with a champagne dial and stick indexes.
