Vtg Tilso? Elf Figurines Set of 2 Musicians Velvet Vests Japan Mid Century Pixie

Add whimsical charm to your mid-century decor with this rare set of vintage Tilso? elf musician figurines. Each features dramatic facial expressions, richly detailed gold pants, red velvet vests, and a classical instrument — a harp and a mandolin. These Japan-made figurines stand tall at 13.5 and 14, making a striking statement on a shelf or in a retro vignette. These are in good vintage condition. The pixie with the harp is wonderful. The pixie with the mandolin has a few issues. One, he will not stand up on his own - he is very top heavy. In the photo I have jacked up a piece of cardboard, a felt furniture pad would be a permanent fix, but I don't have any handy. He is missing one pearl ring and his instrument doesn't have strings, I think it did originally. Brand: Uncertain and unmarked, but they look like Tilso (Japan) Era: Mid-century (1950s–60s) Height: Approx. 13.5 and 14 tall Materials: Plastic with fabric accents Design: One elf with harp, one with mandolin Highly collectible and perfect for lovers of MCM style, fantasy decor, or kitschy vintage whimsy!
