This product is a set of wooden backplates for a GIBSON Les Paul type guitar.
It is based on the backplates from a 1998 Historic Collection model.
The set includes one plate for the control cavity (where the volume and tone pots are housed) and one plate for the pickup selector switch.
Please consider these for upgrading from your genuine plastic backplates or for replacing aged and deteriorated ones.

[Product Details]

The wood used is quilted maple.
The beautiful grain of the quilted maple shimmers and waves, creating a stunning backplate.

The finish is an oil finish using Xotic Oil Gel.
A characteristic of Xotic Oil Gel is that it forms a film even with an oil finish, resulting in a glossy appearance.

The thickness is approximately 2.5mm, similar to genuine plastic backplates.
Product dimensions are shown in the 10th photo, please check them before purchasing.
While I measure as accurately as possible, please understand that there may be slight errors due to the handmade nature of the product.

Wood hardener is used to prevent warping and cracking.
However, as it is made of wood, there is a possibility of warping or cracking due to overtightening screws, impact, or changes in humidity. Please be aware of this.
Please be especially careful when tightening the screws during installation.

As shown in the photos, installation on a guitar body has been confirmed.
Please note that mounting screws are not included.
