The Tango Rocket Stove Kagutuchi is a rocket stove (wood-burning stove) that generates powerful heat using thinned wood, bamboo, and waste materials without relying on fossil fuels. After repeated improvements, the Kagutuchi No. 2 boasts top-class combustion efficiency in the rocket stove industry.
Born in America around 1980, during the Great East Japan Earthquake of March 11, 2011, many people who came to help brought with them pail can rocket stoves, aiding the lives of the local people. Rocket stoves are easy to carry and generate powerful heat. This is the model of the Kagutuchi No. 2 that inspired me to create and expand nationwide. I made this from steel plate, which is durable and can be used indoors. I am expanding my activities with the aim of revitalizing local communities and improving household finances by using materials that might be considered burdens to society, such as thinned wood, bamboo, and demolition waste from houses, which can be procured from all over the country and used as fuel.
