PRS SE Custom24 Wood Back Plate White Ash

Thank you for viewing.
I am selling items I personally create under the name innermountain GUITAR and miscellaneous.
I have a small selection of other items available, so please click on the seller's name to view my other listings.

This product is a set of wooden backplates made for the PRS SE Custom24.
It is mainly compatible with Korean-made models manufactured in 2019 or earlier.
Please be sure to check the dimensions before purchasing.
We highly recommend considering these for upgrading your genuine backplate or replacing one due to age-related deterioration.

The wood used is white ash.
These backplates feature a strong, deep grain characteristic of ash, set against a relatively white tone.

The finish is an oil finish using Xotic Oil Gel.
Due to the properties of Xotic Oil Gel, a film is formed even with an oil finish, resulting in a glossy appearance.

Since the PRS SE control cavity is shielded, aluminum tape has been applied, similar to the genuine backplate.

The thickness is approximately 2mm, the same as the genuine plastic part.
While we measure the product dimensions as accurately as possible, please understand that there may be slight errors due to the handmade nature of the product.

To accommodate slight positional variations in guitar bodies, the screw holes are made about 1mm larger than the genuine ones.
Please note that the screw hole at the top right of the tremolo unit backplate is slightly oval, but this does not affect installation.
It will not be visible when installed, so it will not affect the appearance.

Wood hardener is used to prevent warping and cracking.
However, as this is a wooden product, please understand that warping or cracking may occur due to overtightening screws, impact, or changes in humidity.
Please be especially careful when tightening screws during installation.
Please note that mounting screws are not included.
