Vintage Italian Asparagus Wall Plaque Majolica Style Ceramic Italy

Vintage Made in Italy ceramic asparagus wall plaque featuring a dimensional bundle of asparagus tied with molded twine. The hand-painted design has an ivory/cream ground with soft green detailing, warm tan accents and distinctive pink-to-deep-purple asparagus tips. The highly dimensional, realistic vegetable design is characteristic of Italian trompe l’oeil pottery and works beautifully in a kitchen, dining room, breakfast nook or collected gallery wall. Its long, narrow shape—approximately 9.5 tall × 4 wide—makes it particularly easy to incorporate among other vintage Italian ceramics. Marked MADE IN ITALY on the reverse. Approximate Measurements: 9.5 H × 4 W Condition: Good vintage display condition. There is a sizable chip/loss along the back edge, shown in photos. It is primarily on the reverse and is not readily visible when the piece is displayed from the front. Additional light age-related wear, fleabites and variations in the hand-applied glaze/color are present. The puece is priced accordingly. Please review all photos carefully for condition.
