Description
Vintage FB Rogers Silverplate Butter Dish Lion Head Paw Feet Grandmillennial This is a wonderfully ornate vintage F.B. Rogers Silver Co. silverplate roll-top butter dish or caviar server. It has a fluted domed cover, decorative border, and three dramatic lion-head legs ending in paw feet. It has a great old-world, Victorian Revival look and would be beautiful used as serveware or simply displayed. Measurements: • Height: 5 • Diameter: 5 The piece is pre-owned and has plenty of age-related tarnish, oxidation/spotting, scratches, and surface wear. One of the lion-head leg attachments is broken at the upper mount, but the dish still sits on all three feet and the damage does not prevent use. The original glass liner is not included; the inner metal bowl and roll-top cover are present. Please review the close-up photos of the damaged leg area before purchasing.
