Description
For your consideration is a charming, authentic vintage ceramic mouse figurine pepper shaker. This piece features a beautifully painted grey mouse dressed in a bright yellow raincoat/jacket holding a tiny treat or flower bouquet. Historical Authenticity: The bottom of the base features the highly collectible, original stamped mark: Made in Occupied Japan. This directly dates the piece to the post-WWII allied occupation era between 1945 and 1952. Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Flaws: Shows minor, normal age-related surface wear and paint glaze aging consistent with its 1940s/1950s production. No structural cracks or major chips detected. (Please review all high-resolution photos closely for exact cosmetic details). Note: This listing is for the single shaker figure shown. The original bottom stopper plug is missing but added a new one. Perfect as a standalone kitsch decor piece or as a hard-to-find replacement piece for an existing collection! Dimensions: Approx. 3 inches tall
