Description
Set of two vintage footed stub glasses with a heavy base and clean modernist lines. These glasses feature a thick, clear bowl with a substantial pedestal foot, giving them a sculptural mid century modern presence. The glass has a very faint bluish or ice aqua tone that is visible in certain light. Each glass measures approximately 3 3/8 inches in diameter and 3 7/8 inches tall. The weight and proportions are similar to Scandinavian modern stemmed tumblers from the late 1950s and 1960s. Unmarked. Very nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks noted. The thick base and minimalist silhouette make them ideal for cocktails, wine, aperitifs, or stylish everyday use. Follow me for more vintage finds!
