【Unused】Chasen (Tea Whisk) by Chikugasa, Yamato Takayama, with Paper Box, Tea Ceremony Utensil, Bamboo Chasen, Set of 2
36.29 $
Description
This is a set of two brand new, unused chasen (tea whisks).
They are from Takayama, Nara, known as the home of chasen.
Although they are new and unused, they have been stored at home for a long time. We ask for your understanding.
For the kazuho (many-pronged) whisk, the adhesive has come off as it was taken out once.
The hyakkendate (100-pronged) whisk is still attached to the box, but there are fine cracks in the bamboo. We believe this will not affect its use, but please check the photos.
These are being listed at the request of my grandmother, who taught tea ceremony (Urasenke). We ask for your understanding of vintage items.
- Quantity: Set of 2
- Material: Bamboo
- Color: Brown
- Box Condition: Shows signs of age

Thank you for looking.
