A rare find for the Old Celine devotee. These CL 41400/S frames feature a minimalist crystal clear acetate that beautifully showcases the internal gold-tone textured wire core. This is a quintessential piece from the Phoebe Philo era, featuring the original CÉLINE logo with the accent aigu over the E. ​Dual-Pin Hinges: This specific model utilizes the authentic two-dot hinge construction rather than the triple-stud. ​The CÉLINE and MADE IN ITALY stamps are crisply embossed into the gold wire core, visible through the clear acetate. ​Pre-2018; manufactured by Safilo in Italy. ​Fair vintage condition due to the lenses. The clear acetate remains bright without the yellowing often seen in vintage crystal frames. The left temple arm shows a slight gap at the hinge, the acetate slid out a fraction of an inch. The arm remains securely attached and the hinge is fully functional, but it may require a minor tightening or adjustment by an optician. ​PLEASE NOTE.
