[Care Guide for Long-Term Use]

Beginners, rejoice! We've compiled tips for enjoying your whisk for a long time.

1. Preparation Before First Use
When using for the first time, soak the whisk in hot water (around 80°C) for 3-5 minutes. This will soften and condition the tips, making them less prone to breakage. *Do not untie the black thread in the center; use it as is.

2. Chasen-toshi (Whisk Conditioning) Before Use
Soaking the whisk in hot water for 1-2 minutes before each use will make the bamboo more flexible and help create smoother foam.

3. After-Use Care (Important!)

Rinse immediately with clean water after use, ensuring no matcha residue remains.

Do not use detergent or a dishwasher; water rinsing is sufficient.

After washing, stand the whisk upright in a chasen-naoshi (whisk holder) and dry thoroughly in a well-ventilated, shaded area. This prevents mold and deformation, maintaining its beautiful shape.
