Kisen is a name used to signify the meticulous handwork involved, from bamboo selection to production.
The finish utilizes the bamboo's flexibility and resilience, making it easy to create a fine froth and easy to handle.
Even those new to using a chasen will find it fits naturally in their hand, allowing them to whisk a beautiful cup of tea.
The tips are well-opened, ensuring the matcha is whisked evenly without clumping.
It is perfect for regular practice, home use, introductory classes, or as a gift for those overseas.
Furthermore, using a chasen holder (kuse-naoshi) after use will help maintain its shape and prolong its life.
