This is the cooking can used when receiving Kankan-yaki oysters through the Furusato Nozei (hometown tax donation) program.
Besides oysters, other shellfish can also be steamed in it.
Place ingredients and about one cup of water or sake inside, then heat over direct flame for about 7-8 minutes until steamed.
There is a hole in the center of the lid for steam to escape.
Used once. There are some stains, salt rust, and sticker residue, but these do not affect functionality.
