◇ Product Description ◇
This Odare-gama features a refreshing bamboo ground pattern, suitable for the Furo season (early summer to autumn).
Odare refers to a traditional design that evokes wabi-sabi, with a shape where the lower part of the body appears irregularly chipped, mimicking the aged appearance of old Ashiya-gama kettles. The bamboo pattern applied to this design, along with the texture of the kettle's surface, brings tranquility and elegance to the tea room.
The maker is unknown as there is no box, but it is a very well-proportioned and beautiful piece, closely resembling the style of the master craftsman Masamitsu Kikuchi.
With a manageable size of 15.5cm in height and 23cm in width, it also has excellent balance when placed on a Furo.
This is a recommended item for those who enjoy practicing the tea ceremony or for those who find pleasure in nurturing their tea utensils, including the maintenance of rust. Please consider this opportunity.
