Beautiful authentic Venetian full-face masquerade mask, hand painted in Venice, Italy.  This ornate mask features a dramatic sculptural design in red, black, white/pale gray, pink and metallic gold, with raised swirling details and decorative trim around the perimeter.  The reverse retains important original identification/authentication details, including:  • Red maker’s seal with green, white and red Italian tricolor ribbon • Original round label reading “ORIGINAL HAND PAINTED MADE IN ITALY VENEZIA” • Black ribbon ties • Decorative gold edging  The red seal/tricolor authentication style is associated with La Maschera del Galeone, a Venetian maker of traditional hand-painted masks.
