While it's not difficult to make your own, as the shape is the same and even with the same material, some aluminum materials cannot be used, so there's a risk of buying the wrong material.

As this is handmade, there may be small scratches even on new items.

This is a tool for checking blade parallelism. It is made of aluminum, so it is less likely to damage the blade.

Coins are often used for checking, but their accuracy is low.
It's not clearly visible.
A commonly used 10-yen coin has a magnification of about 6x, meaning 0.01mm becomes 0.06mm.
This varies depending on the size, but an edge checker can have 40x magnification.
For example, 0.01mm becomes 0.4mm.

Dedicated items can be obtained from overseas, but they cost tens of thousands of yen.
Those are the types that are inserted and maintain verticality on the sides, but this type is useless for figure skating. Due to the various shapes, only the placing type is suitable.

As it is handmade, the cut surfaces are not uniform. They have been polished for safety.
