Description
Lola Alvarez Bravo: Recuento fotografico, published by Editorial Penelope in 1982, is a significant monograph documenting the work of one of Mexico's most celebrated photographers. This first edition paperback features a collection of her evocative black-and-white imagery, accompanied by texts from notable figures like Carlos Monsiváis and Luis Cardoza y Aragón. The book provides a profound look at Mexican life, culture, and landscapes through Bravo's lens. The cover shows some shelf wear and light creasing, and the interior pages exhibit foxing and age-related yellowing, particularly along the bottom edges, though the photographic plates remain clear and striking. Item carefully inspected and described to the best of our ability. Fast shipping from Florida. Feel free to ask any questions.
