Weller Pottery Wild Rose Green Candle Holders Set of 3 1930s USA Vintage Cottage

Vintage 1930s Weller Pottery Wild Rose pattern candle holders, a matching set of three, in the soft matte green glaze with molded white rose blossoms and yellow-green centers that defines this Art Deco era Weller line. Each low candlestick measures approximately 2.75 inches tall with a wide 4 inch saucer base and 1.25 inch candle socket, made from Weller's signature matte earthenware body at their Zanesville, Ohio pottery. One piece retains its original Weller paper label reading Wild Rose with the vintage No. and Price fields still visible, a wonderful point of authentication for collectors of American art pottery. The pieces show the classic hand finished polychrome rose motif on the front face with plain matte green on the reverse, typical of Weller's production methods from this period. Wild Rose is a sought after pattern among Weller collectors and fits beautifully with Roseville, Rookwood, and other Zanesville pottery collections, as well as Art Deco and cottage core home decor. These candle holders show light age appropriate wear consistent with a genuine ninety plus year old piece. A charming addition for collectors, dealers, or anyone decorating with authentic American art pottery. Please review all photos carefully as they are part of the description. Very careful shipping.
