Antique Paul & Virginia Girandole Candlestick Marble Base Brass Tone 16.5  The piece comes apart into separate sections, as shown in the photographs. (Will be shipped unassembled as shown in photo)  I have not found a maker's mark on the piece.  Measures approximately 16.5 tall. Weighs 4.5 lbs.  I am not certain that the removable upper candle-holder section is original to this particular base. I have been unable to locate an exact example matching this configuration, so I am offering it with the upper section but cannot guarantee that all components were originally sold together.  The piece does not have any of the crystal prisms that would typically be found decorating this type of girandole. It is possible that the original piece had prisms, but none are included.  Condition: Antique/vintage condition with significant age-related wear.  The metal has an aged/patinated appearance with areas of discoloration, oxidation, finish wear and loss consistent with age. The marble base has natural veining as well as age-related wear and surface imperfections.  There are no crystal prisms included.  Please examine all photographs carefully. The photos show the actual item and are considered part of the condition description.  Because of the age, missing prisms, and uncertainty regarding the originality of the upper section, this piece is being sold as-is.
