New Premium Gold-Plated DC Jack High Current 30V 20A 5.5/2.5 (Set of 2)

This is a high-current, high-output DC jack for amplifiers, rarely seen in Japan.
This is a premium DC jack made of brass with full gold plating.
It is a reliable product with a robust design and low contact resistance for high current applications.

This jack can be used to replace the DC jack of commercially available digital amplifiers that use AC adapters, aiming for further sound quality improvement.

I replaced the DC jack of my FX-98e with this jack and will describe the subsequent sound quality changes below.
This is purely my personal opinion.

- The ambiguity of low-frequency instruments is reduced, and the shape and form of low-frequency instruments become clearer.
- The dynamic range of the music expands, and the presence of each instrument becomes more vivid.
- Background noise accompanying music playback is reduced, allowing the resonance of instruments to be clearly heard, making the music more realistic and beautiful, and conveying the emotion of the performance more deeply.

Features
Most standard DC jacks have tin-plated brass for the ground part, but this product is entirely made of brass with gold plating. Combined with low contact resistance due to its high-current specification, high sound quality can be expected.

The rated current of a standard DC jack is a few amps.
Therefore, the amplifier output that can be handled by the jack is about 100W to 200W.
Many commercially available digital amplifiers and other AC adapter-powered high-output amplifiers have outputs of around 500W, but they require DC jacks rated for 10-20A.
This jack perfectly meets the requirements for high-output amplifier DC jacks. As far as I know, there are no jacks with a rated current of 20A available in Japan.

By replacing the DC jack of your existing digital amplifier with this jack, you can expect the sound quality improvements mentioned above.
