Vintage South African Zulu Style Lidded Woven Basket 5” Mini Folk Art

Vintage handwoven South African lidded basket, approximately 3.5” tall × 5” wide. This charming small basket features tightly coiled construction with geometric designs woven in black, warm brown and natural tan fibers. Rounded vessel form with coordinating removable lid. The underside of the lid retains its original MADE IN SOUTH AFRICA label. The form and decoration are consistent with traditional South African/Zulu-style basketry. No individual weaver attribution accompanies this basket, so it is being conservatively described as Zulu-style. Measurements: Approx. 3.5” H × 5” W Good vintage condition with expected natural variations and minor age-related wear to the woven fibers. Please see photos for complete condition.
