This exceptional vintage basket is beautifully hand-woven from honey-toned natural wicker accented by bold, glossy checkerboard bands of pinkish-red and cream celluloid.  Brilliant Double-Compartment Design: Lid & Pin Cushion: The top woven lid is attached via dual red guide cords and flips back to reveal a gorgeous, plush, button-tufted red satin pin cushion. Removable Tier 1 (Top): The upper layer consists of a shallow, independent woven tray compartment lined in red satin that pulls completely out of the frame. Deep Storage Tier 2 (Bottom): Removing the top tray exposes a separate, deep lower base storage well—perfect for organizing large sewing notions, yarn, or daily handbag essentials!
