Description
This charming vintage wicker basket is a rare find, especially in such good vintage condition (minus some dust). The domed lid forms her rounded body, topped with a woven red comb and yellow beak detail. It is beautifully made, with tight fine weave in a honey tone. The lid and base are lined in soft sky-blue fabric. The original red Made in the People's Republic of China paper label is still inside; a classic vintage PRC export piece. The base measures approximately 9 across and the assembled piece stands about 6 tall. Perfect for farmhouse decor, cottagecore styling, Easter baskets, egg storage, or simply as a charming piece of folk craft to display.
